Saudi Marine Sports Federation on Kingdom's Open League Sailing Championship

|
Saudi Arabian Marine Games Federation held a meeting for discussing progress on preparations for the Kingdom's Open League Sailing Championship. The meeting took place in Riyadh in the presence of His Highness, Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Fahad Bin Abdullah, Chairman of the Tourism Development Council of Eastern Province, and the Member of the Higher Committee for Saudi Open League Sailing Championship.
Chairman of the league, Admiral Awad Bin Aid Al Balawi, has expressed his gratitudes to HH Prince Abdul Aziz for the continuous support to the championship given by the Tourism Development Council in the Eastern Province. He also praised the support of HH Prince Faisal Bin Fahad Bin Abdullah, the member of the Higher Committee that is assigned for organizing the championship.

Kingdom Open Regatta awards the biggest prize worldwide
|

The organizers of the Kingdom Open Regatta have stated that they've decided to award a car to the first winner in the Sailing race. Mr. Jean Peir, the Chairman of Technical Committee, said that it is really a very big prize.
Mr. peir was speaking in the media conference held two weeks ago during his visit to Saudi Arabia to meet offecials in the Saudi Federatrion and to visit the location for the Sailing Race
Jean Peir stated that he was surprised by the facilities he saw in King Fahad Maritime City
Kingdom Open Regatta will be held in Half Moon Beach in Khobar from 4 to 9 July 2009
